Myspace, shmyspace. I’ll post stuff like this on my blog, because I’m too lazy to write anything of value to post here. Have fun!

1) Where did you begin 2007?
A dive bar in Brooklyn. Ha. Go figure.

2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
My status? I don’t know; I was doing all right.

3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
I’ve taken some classes and been to some seminars, but I’m done with the whole school thing (at least for now).

4) How did you earn your money?
THREE different jobs. Bank of America, U-Haul, and now TBConsulting. I think I’m here to stay.

5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Nope.

6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
I did actually get pulled over for the first time in my life. Just a warning. Not even a written one.

7) Where did you go on holiday?
Rocky Point to see RCPM in May. Fossil Springs backpacking over Labor Day weekend. And Vegas in less than three weeks!

8) What did you purchase that was over $1000?
Suns season tickets (most ridiculous impulse buy EVER)

9) Did you know anybody who got married?
Not that I can recall..

10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
A few, unfortunately

12) Did you move anywhere?
Nope

14) What concerts/shows did you go to?
Plenty. Those that I can remember: RCPM @ Rocky Point, and Chase Field. Fenix TX @ The Clubhouse. Flogging Molly @ Mesa Amp (on St. Patrick’s Day, no less!).

15) Are you registered to vote?
Yeah. This question seems out of place, though..

16) Who did you want to win Big Brother?
OMFG STFU. ZOMGWTFBBQ.

17) Where do you live now?
Tempe

18) Describe your birthday.
Bamboo Club. Ra. Bombshells. Haha.

19) What’s one thing you thought you’d never do but did in 2007?
Moved on.

20) What have been your favorite moments?
Rocky Point was a good one. Can you possibly beat a beers and tacos on a Mexican beach? I mean, seriously..

21) What’s something you learned about yourself?
My resume attracts a lot of attention when I put it out there.

22.) Any new additions to your family?
Bert!

23.) What was your best month?
I’m going to have to say that December will pwn all the other months.

24.) What music will you remember 2007 by?
Mostly Roger Clyne stuff. Always liked ‘em, but never really got into them until this summer.

25) Who are your best drinking buddies?
Whoever is buying the next round

26) Made new friends?
Of course

27) Best new friend?
Bert!

Dreams

It’s funny how important dreams are to you when you’re sleeping. Often, you just don’t want to get up because you want to continue whatever it is you’re dreaming about. And often, you can’t even remember what it is you were dreaming about, even seconds after you step out of bed.

It would be nice if any of our thoughts could be like dreams, if we chose them to be. If I could just hop out of bed and forget about the unattainable, and go on my day not knowing what I’m missing out on. Don’t get me wrong - it’s great to have hopes and dreams. It’s just that some of them are dangerous to hold on to..

Stuff I Love

I think I’m going to make a new recurring theme post: stuff I love. Reminiscent of the old “Stuff I Hate” from Voice of Doom - but just a tad more upbeat. Less complaining in the blogosphere is always a good thing, too, I think.

Today’s inaugural entry is:

I love when I come in to work and go to the bathroom. I open the stall door, and find a shiny clean toilet, unused by anyone else that day. It’s a fantastic feeling.
